| With the new ball contract with Ektelon, the CVRA Board proposed to use the Ektelon Fireball Red at all State(2) and Championship(6) series events. The proposal was voted on and approved. That is eight tournaments. All other tournaments can use the Ektelon Premium Select Blue or the Ektelon Classic Black. This does not include one or two select tournaments which use their own brand of balls. Again, this requirement is only for the six Champion series events and the State Singles and State Doubles events. |

Not sure why we will be using a blatantly "outdoor" ball...doesn't translate well to any courts with stiff walls. Seems very much like a speciality ball suited to a small number of clubs.

| I do agree with John and also the wording in your response should be All other tournaments MUST use an Ektelon ball whether it is the Fireball, Select blue or Classic black. |
