Racquetball in Virginia thrives when people step up.
At the Commonwealth of Virginia Racquetball Association (CVRA), our mission is to invigorate and support players, tournaments, clubs, and programs throughout the state—but we can’t do it alone.
That’s why we’re calling on volunteers to join our Board of Directors and help us grow the sport we all love.
Why You’re Needed
Right now, a small group of dedicated volunteers manages most of the planning, support, and coordination for racquetball in Virginia. But there’s more we could do—with your help.
We need people who are:
Passionate about racquetball
Willing to help organize or support events
Connected to clubs, communities, or new areas of the state
Motivated to bring in new players and ideas
What Board Members Do
Help plan and promote tournaments
Support juniors, clubs, and outreach
Represent racquetball in your region
Bring ideas for sponsorship, marketing, or community engagement
Attend occasional planning calls (virtual)
No Experience Required
You don’t need to be a seasoned pro or a tournament director. You just need a heart for the game and a willingness to help.
